Corrections (Erratum)

A correction notice will be published when a published article contains errors that materially affect the interpretation of results but do not invalidate the overall findings. The correction will clearly identify the error and corrected content, and will be linked to the original article.

Expression of Concern

An expression of concern may be issued when: (i) there is inconclusive evidence of misconduct; (ii) an investigation is ongoing; or (iii) there are concerns about the reliability of findings. An expression of concern is not a finding of misconduct.

Retractions

A retraction will be issued when published work involves: fabrication or falsification of data, plagiarism, duplicate or redundant publication, undisclosed conflicts of interest that invalidate findings, or serious methodological errors undermining conclusions. Retracted articles remain accessible online but are clearly marked as retracted with date and reason.

Process

Concerns about published articles should be directed to the editorial office. All reports will be investigated using COPE flowcharts and guidelines.
