Duties of Editors

Editorial Independence: Editorial decisions are made solely on academic merit, relevance to scope, methodological rigour, and originality — without regard to nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, or commercial interest.

Confidentiality: Editors treat submitted manuscripts as confidential and shall not share content except to those involved in the review process.

Conflicts of Interest: Editors recuse themselves from decisions regarding manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.

Handling Misconduct: Editors investigate and act upon suspected cases of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, undisclosed duplicate submission, and authorship disputes, following COPE guidelines.

Duties of Reviewers

Objectivity: Reviews are conducted objectively. Personal criticism of authors is not appropriate.

Confidentiality: Manuscripts are confidential. Reviewers must not share, distribute, or upload manuscripts to external AI tools without explicit editor permission.

Promptness: Reviewers must notify editors immediately if they cannot complete a review within the agreed timeframe.

Conflicts of Interest: Reviewers must declare any conflict of interest and, if appropriate, decline the invitation.

Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards: Authors must present an accurate account of research performed. Fabrication, falsification, and selective reporting are unacceptable.

Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure their work is original. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism. Self-plagiarism is not permitted.

Multiple Submission: Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.

Authorship: Authorship should be limited to those who made a significant intellectual contribution. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring all appropriate co-authors are included.

AI-Assisted Writing: Authors using AI tools must disclose use per the AI Use Policy. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Data Integrity: Authors should provide access to underlying data where feasible.

Research Involving Human Participants

Research involving human participants must comply with applicable ethical standards including informed consent and data protection requirements. Authors must confirm compliance with relevant national and institutional guidelines.
