Current Indexing Status
Our Commitment to Indexing Standards
JEMS is designed from its foundation to meet the technical, editorial, and ethical requirements of major indexing services, including:
- Rigorous double-blind peer review with documented procedures
- Transparent publication ethics aligned with COPE guidelines
- Structured metadata and machine-readable article records
- Persistent digital identifiers (DOI) for all published articles
- Long-term digital preservation through recognised archiving services
- Consistent publication schedule
- International editorial board with demonstrated expertise
- Open access with clear licensing under CC BY 4.0
Long-Term Objectives
JEMS's long-term indexing objectives include application to DOAJ following the establishment of a demonstrated publication record, and subsequent pursuit of Scopus and Web of Science / ESCI evaluation. These are long-term goals, and the journal's development is guided by quality and compliance rather than timeline pressure.
